Know What Your Renovation Will Cost — in Minutes, Not Days
Most contractors make you wait for a callback just to hear a rough number. Our estimate assistant prices your project line by line — materials, labour, even travel to your address — using the same price list our crews actually work from, and hands you a detailed range in a few minutes. No forms, no waiting, no obligation.
Your estimate starts here
Nothing to fill in first and nothing to install — tell the assistant what needs doing and it takes it from there. Your contact information is only asked for at the very end, and only if you want the details sent to Artush.

How it works
Four steps, whether it's a kitchen you've been planning for years or water damage from last night.
Describe your project
Tell the assistant what needs doing — a basement to finish, a bathroom to redo, water damage to repair. Add photos if you have them.
It asks the questions that matter
Dimensions, finishes, access, what's original vs. already renovated — the same details a contractor would ask on a site visit, without you having to know what to mention.
Get your itemized range
Every line priced from our real catalogue: materials, labour, and a travel fee calculated from your postal code. You see exactly where each dollar comes from.
Optionally, get a firm quote from Artush
Send your estimate in one click. Artush reviews the project and calls you back with a confirmed price — often the same day. Nothing is sent if you'd rather just look at the numbers.
A preview, not a promise
This is deliberate: the estimate is a data-driven preview built on our real price list, not a confirmed bid. Every property is different, and what a crew finds once a wall is open can move the numbers. That's exactly why Artush always confirms the price in person before work starts — the range gives you an honest order of magnitude before the first phone call, not a number pulled out of thin air.
What the estimate can do
- Price your project line by line from our real catalogue of over 125 priced items
- Calculate a travel fee from your postal code
- Estimate how many days the work will take
- Forward the full detail to Artush for a callback, only if you choose to
What it can't do
- Replace an in-person visit — hidden conditions like mould, structural issues or old plumbing only show up on site
- Issue a firm, contractual quote
- Include licensed plumbing or electrical work — those are always priced as separate allowances
- Guess a price for anything you didn't describe — the assistant flags it as an exclusion instead of making one up
Real numbers, not made up ones
A few installation rates straight from the price book the estimator (and our crews) actually use — labour only, materials shown separately unless noted:
- Laminate flooring installation
- $8.60 / sq ft
- Luxury vinyl plank installation
- $8.25 / sq ft
- Nail-down hardwood installation
- $14.95 / sq ft
- Water extraction (water damage)
- $1.75 / sq ft
- Standard bathtub installation
- $895
- Emergency service call-out
- $295
These are single line-item rates, not full-project totals — a real project combines dozens of these depending on scope. The estimator does that math for you.

Is this the final price I'll be quoted?
No — and that's deliberate. Think of the estimate as a data-driven preview built on our real price list, not a confirmed bid. It gives you an honest order of magnitude before the first call. Artush confirms the final price once he's seen the project in person — some conditions only show up on site.
What does the estimate include and exclude?
It prices labour and materials for every stage of the work you describe — demolition, prep, installation, finishing. Licensed plumbing and electrical work, and finish materials you supply yourself (tile, faucets, appliances), are shown as separate line items instead of being guessed at.
Is it really free, and do I have to give my contact information?
The estimate itself is free and needs no credit card. You can explore pricing without leaving anything behind. To get the full breakdown by email or a callback from Artush, we'll ask for a name and a way to reach you — never before.
How long does it take?
A few minutes. Describe your project, answer whatever clarifying questions the assistant asks, and the itemized range shows up on screen.
What happens after I finish my estimate?
If you choose to leave your contact information, Artush receives your estimate and any photos you added, then calls you back to confirm the price — often the same day. If you'd rather just look at the numbers, nothing is sent to anyone.
Can the price change after an in-person visit?
Yes — and it would with any honest contractor. An opened wall can reveal mould, a floor can hide a subfloor that needs replacing. The range is built on what you describe; Artush confirms the final number once those details are verified on site.
What happens to my photos?
They're used only to assess the work more accurately, and they're stored on our servers in Quebec.
