Two Months of Water Behind a Finished Wall

Problem
A galvanized supply line failed inside a finished basement in Chomedey and leaked for roughly two months before anyone noticed. By the time it surfaced, water had moved through the assembly and mould had taken hold behind the finishes. What the owners expected to be a plumbing repair was already a containment and demolition job.
Solution
We opened the basement back to structure rather than guessing at the extent — with a slow leak, the damage is always wider than the stain. Affected material was removed, the assembly dried and readings logged, and the rebuild started only once the structure was verified dry. With the space already open, the owners chose to rebuild it as a full renovation instead of restoring it to what it had been.
Result
A basement finished to a better standard than before the failure, with a written record of what was found and what was replaced at each stage. That documentation is what turns a claim conversation into a short one.

Burst Pipe Across Two Occupied Floors

Problem
A winter pipe burst soaked ceilings, walls, and flooring across two occupied apartment units. The property manager needed fast drying to prevent mold and minimal disruption for tenants.
Solution
Emergency water extraction within hours, containment and drying equipment for five days with logged moisture readings, then full drywall, insulation, paint, and flooring replacement.
Result
Both units fully restored in under three weeks with tenants in place. Complete photo documentation supported the insurance claim from first visit to final walkthrough.

Small Repair & Color Matching · Homeowner

Bathtub Surround Repair After Water Leak

Problem
A water leak damaged the tile surround of a corner bathtub. The original tile was no longer available, making a seamless match difficult.
Solution
Removed the damaged tile and substrate down to the framing, installed a new waterproofing membrane around the tub, then retiled with a marble-look tile chosen to blend as closely as possible with the rest of the bathroom.
Result
A clean, finished repair the customer was happy with — proof that even a tricky color-match job can come out looking intentional.

Result
A warm, dry family room and play area that added usable square footage — and value — to the home.
